The colours of Jade -free psd by brokencreation The colours of Jade -free psd by brokencreation
No dont worry i havent just took another dudes drawing coloured it in and claimed it as my own XD.

you see :iconwsache007: sometimes comes and asks me how his progression is going in the eyes of an artist who dose things allot differently to him that's fair enough as i do that allot myself. and recently he has been improving allot in my opinion just the things i said is. your shading is getting really nice but it needs more colour to it. and i showed him a veriation of his own method of very similar. and just showed him how to change it a little to give the feeling that the character is actually in the scene and not put into. also to show him how a nice simple background wont eat up the character and is actually easier than spending the afternood finding the right background photo and waiting to get the other persons permission :]. as you see it works nice

IF YOU WANNA LEARN FROM OUR EXAMPLE HERE IS THE PSD sta.sh/09o43la40h9 i made it as small as i could without loosing all the layers and filters ;v;

also if you ever want me to colour in a line art commission you ever gotten of some before. if you have the artists permission and 5 or 10 for a background too. note me and id be happy to oblige :iconiderpitplz:

ALSO his current work in progress is here <da:thumb id="413813847"> lovely thing isn't she

Jade and base drawing are (c) :iconwsache007:

the colour job and simple BG work are (c) myself

if people like i will start uploading more compressed versions of my paintings and such for you all to learn from nvn link me in your descriptions if you use anything from them or the methods etc. and link me the results. love seeing what people make up

Not bad, but I also like the way Sache puts so much glitter on his pinup style. If the subject matter is gonna be a sexy, curvy gal then is the background gonna matter as much? Hence the whole point of the "pinup".

What can I say, I'm a sucker for round, shiny, smooth stuff. :icondurrhurrplz:

indeed but this is an artistic point of view. look at a pinup magazine if your gunna do that you may as well just put her in a room or something that complients a scene. as allot of pinup mags make a scenario. using photos in a drawing pinup sometimes eats up a character. and the shiney thing is all to do with preference as i dont like the hole blow up doll thing but he probably dont like gay porn init where i on the other hand would happilly draw fullon gay porn etc.

The old classic pinups never bothered with background much, but you're right I guess, a lot of it is a matter of preference.

no classic ones played a scenario. like a woman on the phone talking to her girl frinds in skimpy undies or riding a bomb etc

I guess they did, but still the background was very minimal. classic pinups

indeed. but i have the kind of ethic with pin ups as showkaizer on FA. give it a bg and some story and it becomes more interesting

i prefer more matte naturally occurring or vibrant high contrast colours nwn without the shine. skin and fur and all that don't shine unless wet

Matte colors are pretty awesome, but do you the ones used for cars? Man, that makes them look like spyhunters or Shadow/Darkness riders in the dead of night :D

hehe i like the dark awesome cars or rather outlandish cars like that new 3.5 million Lamborghini. but i tend to draw very much 80's sci fi cars for some reason. but i can draw a beast car. not met MANY better than me eve as it was ALL i used to draw as a kid and it just never ever left me ewe

thats completely based on speculative opinion as the way we draw is like comparing a cat to a dog and expecting a cat to fetch a ball and go walkies with you
